Cancer Research UK

Everybody has a cancer story; it’s something that’s touched us all and yet increasingly there are more positive stories being heard as treatments are ever improved and more available.
I’ve seen how Cancer has affected my friends and family and yet wouldn’t it be amazing if the positive stories started to outweigh the negative?
Cancer Research can surely turn the tide against this disease and that is why I’m proud to be fundraising on their behalf as we embark on this journey.

This is for Brendan. We recently lost my Father-in-law or Wo Wo (as the grand kids called him) to lung cancer. He was a great bloke and bull of a man that never had a sick day in his life, was proud he never took pills but lived a healthy(ish) lifestyle.
We all miss him and we want to do our part.
We aim to raise donations to go towards finding a cure for cancer and to support those who look after the patients and their families.
Prostate Cancer UK

Some little known statistics about prostate cancer: 11,000 men a year in the UK die from prostate cancer, that’s 1 every 45 seconds! It’s the third biggest cancer killer. It is set to become the biggest cancer diagnosis by 2030. This charity’s aim is simple; stop men dying of prostate cancer. They intend to do this by radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention and support.
This is a cause that I feel strongly about and together we can start to make that change. This will take money so please donate whatever you can.
